There will be changes on some public transport routes as of May 19
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of May 19 and until the end of the summer season changes will be made on some bus routes, and new working day and holiday schedules will be introduced on several public transport routes.
From May 19 and until the end of the summer season (at least until August 31), when Riga residents and guests go to beaches, gardens and recreation places, changes will be made on the following public transport routes to ensure a more comfortable transportation of passengers to Mangaļsala, Vecāķi, Daugavgrīva, Vakarbuļļi and Mežaparks.
- In the summer season, bus No. 58 will run to Vecāķi, yet on working days and holidays some morning buses will run only to Vecmīlgrāvis. There will be also changes in the working day and holiday schedules.
- There will be new holiday schedules on bus routes No. 3 and 30. On Saturdays, Sundays and festive days bus No. 3 will run from Pļavnieki to Vakarbuļļi starting from 7:34, but bus No. 30 will run, as of May 19, also on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
- For passengers’ comfort, bus No. 36 will run more frequently. There will be changes in the working day and holiday schedules.
- Until the end of the summer season, bus route No. 29 will be extended to Vecāķi: „Mežciems – Vecmīlgrāvis – Vecāķi”. You shall take into account that the bus departing at 8:31 from Mežciems on working days will only run to terminal „Vecmīlgrāvis”.
- To ensure a more comfortable transportation of passengers to Riga beaches, as of May 19 changes will be made in the holiday schedules of bus routes No. 2, 24, 19, 29 and in the working day schedules of bus routes No. 19, 29.
- As of May 19, summer season schedules will be introduced on holidays on bus routes No. 15 and 31.
- On tram route No. 11, there will be changes in the holiday schedules.
